Background: Lanz Cornelius, known for his infamous behavior and awesomeness at video games down in Georgia, was one day being chased by a man (unknown man, of course) through a local grocery store. Lanz, fleeing for his life, was tripped up and the Unknown Man pinned him to the floor, leaned over and whispered, "Now, you'll be fun to watch!", and injected him with a virus. Over a course of time, he realized that his genes were being mutated and allowing him to manipulate fire and unlock different abilities (unknown to anyone but himself). To this day, he has been searching for the man who did this to him and hopefully pound some answers out of him

Reason for Fighting: Recieved the "Random Invitation" one day that promised him that if he wins the tournament, he can be given the answers to the questions he seeks. The only thing that was standing in his way was a plethora of fighters, all rivaling in strength. It would be a hard road indeed, but his response was simple. Toothpick in the mouth, and smirked.
